Service Description
You will receive a comprehensive introduction to metals and various techniques that will enable you to make a small series of jewellery pieces. You will learn how to make a ring, firstly in copper and then in sterling silver. You will then move on to making jump rings and basic findings. Tuition is provided by experienced tutors and professional jewellers in a supportive learning environment. You will learn how to saw, drill, file, clean, texture, form and solder in a friendly workshop setting. No experience is necessary, Anvil Studios will provide two saw blades, a small sheet of base metal. Students who would like to buy precious metals may discuss this with the tutor in the first class. Students can also buy consumables like saw blades and drill bits from Anvil Studios during class.
Cancellation Policy
Our classes run dependent on minimum numbers, classes will be confirmed one week prior to the class scheduled start date. To cancel your enrollment, we require 5 working days notice prior to class commencement. A $30 administration fee will be charged. Payment will be refunded in full if Anvil Studios cancel the class. (Cancellations due to Covid-19 will incur a $30 administration fee)
