We also offer supervised access to the workshop. To ensure we are following health and safety requirements we may suggest that you use this option.
You will still need to be able to work in an independent manner and have had previous jewellery making experience, or have attended our 10 week Advanced Classes or equivalent.
Supervised Workbench Hire | $70 for a 3 hour session
Workbench Access have the following facilities available to them:

Use of shared equipment (flexible drive, rolling mill, draw bench, drill press, polishing motor, oxy/LPG torch set up and pickle and other sundry equipment)

Studio access times:
Monday - Friday 9:30am - 4:00pm
$45 per day, $120 for 3 sessions or $225 for a week.

All hirers must make a booking by contacting us directly to ensure space is available.

To qualify for a discounted concession card the hirer agrees that these sessions be booked in and taken within a reasonable timeframe.

ENROLMENT NUMBERS
Classes run subject to minimum enrolment numbers being met. If we do not have sufficient students to run a course, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and will book you into the next available course.BOOKINGS
To confirm your booking, full payment is required at least 5 working days prior to class commencement.REFUNDS
If you wish to cancel your enrolment, we require 5 working days' notice prior to class commencement in order for you to receive a refund. A $30 administration fee will be charged if you cancel your enrolment. If we do not receive sufficient notice, you will not be eligible for a refund. Payment will be refunded in full if Anvil Studios cancel the class (except due to cancellations as a result of Covid-19).LIABILITY
The participant will indemnify Anvil Studios, its employees or agents against all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses arising from the participant's use or hire of the facility.MISSING CLASSES
If you are unable to attend a class due to illness, self-isolation or personal reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund for classes missed or to transfer to another class to make up your missed class.TRODUCTION CLASS
It is important that you attend the first class of your class as this is when we provide an introduction to our workshop tools and equipment, as well as a comprehensive explanation and demonstration of the basic jewellery making techniques that you will be using. If you are not able to attend the first class, we request that you re enrol for the next available class.CLASS POSTPONEMENT
In the event of staff sickness, we will endeavour to prevent class cancellation and to instead provide a substitute tutor. If we are unable to do this, the class may be postponed at very short notice and a replacement class rescheduled. Should this issue arise, we will make every effort to contact class participants as soon as possible.PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
No classes will be scheduled on a public holiday weekend. If a class falls on a public holiday, the class will extend over a longer period of time to allow for this. Advertised class dates take into account any possible missed classes due to public holidays.HEALTH AND SAFETY
Please pay special attention to health and safety issues in the studio. You will be introduced to these during demonstrations and it is your responsibility to take note and observe them. Students must be 18 years or older to enrol in our classes.$70 for a 3 hour session
